PINWHEEL MEAT LOAF
Cheese filling
2 lbs. meat-loaf mixture (ground beef, pork, veal)
1 egg
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
4 slices bacon, halved

Mix meat-loaf mixture with egg, onion and seasonings. Pat into a thin rectangle, 16 x 10 inches on waxed paper or foil. (For easy handling, paper should be a few inches longer than meat layer.) Spread filling evenly over meat to within 1 inch of edges, roll up, jelly roll fashion, using waxed paper or foil as a guide. Place, seam side down, in a greased large shallow baking pan and top with bacon. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until bacon is crisp.

CHEESE FILLING:

Pour 1/2 cup boiling water over 2 cups ready-mix bread stuffing, toss to mix well. Stir in 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese, 1 egg and 1/4 cup catsup.
