PEACH NUT BREAD | |
1 c. light brown sugar 1/2 c. granulated sugar 1 c. butter at room temperature 4 eggs 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 3/4 c. peach preserves 2 1/2 c. flour, sifted 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 2 c. chopped nuts Cream together sugar and butter; add eggs, vanilla and preserves and set aside. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and cinnamon. Set aside 1/2 cup flour mixture and stir remaining flour mixture with creamed mixture. Add nuts into the reserved flour and stir into mixture. Pour into 2 greased 8"x4" loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
