PEACH NUT BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. fresh or canned peaches (finely cut)
2 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Mix all together. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Sprinkle top of loaf with sugar before baking.
