PEAR OR PEACH BREAD 
2 c. oil
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
7 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. buttermilk
4 tsp. vanilla
4 c. chopped pears or peaches

Add sugar to oil. Beat in eggs one at a time. Combine dry ingredients; add to egg mixture alternately with buttermilk. Stir in pears and vanilla. Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Makes 4 loaves.
