1 gal. broth - chicken, turkey, beef 1 sm. onion, chopped fine 1 stalk celery, chopped fine or 1 tsp. celery salt 5 or 6 carrots, diced 1 c. canned tomatoes, chopped or tomato juice 1 c. Quaker Quick Barley About 1 cup of chopped chicken, turkey, or beef may be added. Broth made from smoked turkey bones especially good. Cook about 1 hour. |
