CHERRY PRETZEL TORTE | |
1 c. butter 3/4 c. sugar 2 c. coarsely crushed pretzels 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1/2 c. powdered sugar 2 (1 1/2 oz.) pkg. Dream Whip 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling Melt butter. Add sugar and blend. Remove from heat and add pretzels and stir lightly. Reserve 3/4 cup for topping. Press remaining in 9x13 inch pan. Blend cream cheese and powdered sugar together. Whip topping according to directions on package, fold into cream cheese mixture. Spread half of mixture over crust. Spread cherry pie filling carefully over mixture. Spread remaining mixture over cherry filling. Top with reserved pretzel mixture. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight. |
