“MEXICAN PECAN CANDY” IS IN:

MEXICAN PECAN CANDY 
1 slice bacon
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
pinch of salt
2 cups pecans, halved

Combine all ingredients except pecans. Cook until a hard ball will form in water (250°F-266°F on candy thermometer).

Remove bacon; stir in pecans quickly. Drop from spoon onto greased waxed paper.

Cooks Note: Use of a candy thermometer is recommended.
