HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD | |
2 tbsp. cornstarch 2 tsp. salt 1 c. cold water 3/4 c. sugar 1/3 c. white vinegar 2 tsp. butter 1 large onion, sliced 4 strips bacon, fried and diced 2 quarts boiled potatoes, peeled and sliced In a frying pan, blend cornstarch with cold water. Add salt, sugar and vinegar. Boil a few minutes until clear, stirring constantly. Add butter, sliced onions, diced bacon and sliced potatoes. Simmer for a few minutes. Serve hot. 8 to 10 servings. |
