TEXAS SHEET CAKE | |
2 c. sugar 2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 2 cubes butter 1 c. water 4 tbsp. cocoa 1/2 c. sour cream 2 eggs 1 tsp. baking soda FROSTING: 1 cube butter 6 tbsp. milk 3 tbsp. cocoa 1 pkg. powdered sugar 1 c. nuts Mix sugar, flour and salt together. In a pan mix butter, water and cocoa, bring this to a boil and then add to the dry ingredients. Beat sour cream, eggs and soda together, then ad it to the other batter, batter will be thin. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Take out of oven and frost immediately. For frosting, mix 1 cube butter, milk and 3 tablespoons cocoa in a pan and bring to a boil. Then add powdered sugar and nuts. |
