NOODLES ROMANOFF | |
4 cubes chicken or beef bouillon cubes 4 c. boiling water 8 oz. fine noodles 1 1/2 c. cottage cheese (or 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese) 1 c. sour cream 1 sm. onion, minced 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. thyme 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1/2 c. bread crumbs (may use crackers) Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water. Cook noodles in broth until tender. Do not drain. Stir in cottage cheese, sour cream, onion and seasoning. Turn into shallow 10 cup baking dish. Top with crumbs. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Serve hot. 6 large servings. |
