SHRIMP WITH LINGUINI 
1/2 lb. shelled raw shrimp
1 sm. clove garlic, minced
3 lg. mushrooms, sliced
1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. grated Romano cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
Freshly ground pepper
4 oz. linguini

Cook linguini in boiling salted water for 10 minutes. Drain, rinse with cold water and set aside. In large skillet, heat 1/2 c. butter; add garlic, shrimp and mushrooms. cook slowly for 5 minutes. Add linguini, sprinkle with cheese, salt and pepper, using a large spoon, mix well until linguini is hot. Turn out onto a warm serving dish and serve with grated cheese. Serves 2.
