MERRY CHRISTMAS COOKIES 
1 c. real butter
1 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. milk
7 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
6 slices candied pineapple
2 c. (1 lb.) candied cherries
2 c. chopped dates
3/4 c. white raisins
2 tbsp. cherry flavoring

Cream butter. Gradually add sugar and cream together. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Sift flour and soda together. Add dry ingredients and milk alternately. Add nuts, fruits and flavoring and mix well. Drop by teaspoon on well-greased cookie sheets and bake at 275 to 300 degrees for about 20 minutes. Makes about 200 cookies. When ready to store, place piece of wax paper between each layer of cookies.
