EASY TENDER CINNAMON ROLLS
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
2 1/2 c. very warm water, 110-115 degrees
1 beaten egg
5 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. yeast

FILLING:

1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. corn syrup
Nuts (opt.)

Mix together in a large mixing bowl cake mix, water, egg, yeast, salt and flour. Mix well and cover. Dough is really sticky, but no kneading is necessary. Let rise 1 hour. Turn out onto well floured board. Add more flour if sticky. Work it a little, then roll out about 1/4" thick. Spread with melted butter, 1/4 cup white sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon. Roll up like jelly roll. Slice.

Grease 2 (13"x9") pans and put 1/2 the following mixture of brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and nuts in each pan. Place rolls on top. Let rise.

Bake at 350 degrees until nicely browned, 20 to 25 minutes. Sometimes I put raisins in them.
