FEATHERY FUDGE CAKE 
2 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. cold water
3 sq. (3 oz.) unsweetened chocolate, melted & cooled

Grease and lightly flour two 9 x 1 1/2 inch round baking pans. Combine the first 3 ingredients. In a mixer bowl beat butter on medium speed for 30 seconds. Add sugar and vanilla; beat until well combined. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 1 minute each. Beat in cooled chocolate. Add dry ingredients and cold water alternately to beaten mixture, beating after each addition, turn into pans. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes. Cool 10 minutes on wire rack.
