CRUNCHY CHICKEN 'N' OATS 
1 broiler, fryer, cut in parts
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. milk
1 c. bread crumbs
3/4 c. rolled oats
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1/2 tsp. ginger
6 tbsp. melted butter

In shallow dish, place egg; beat in milk. In another shallow dish, mix together bread crumbs, oats, brown sugar, salt, garlic powder, curry powder and ginger.

Dip chicken, one piece at a time; first in egg mixture, then in bread crumbs; dredging to coat. In large shallow baking pan, place chicken, skin side up, in single layer. Brush melted butter over chicken. Bake in 400 degree oven for 1 hour, basting at 20 minutes and 40 minutes. Makes 4 servings.

Hint: Use glass baking pan or bottom half of broiler for maximum crunchiness!
