HAWAIIAN CHINESE SPARERIBS | |
1/2 c. soy sauce 1/2 c. catsup 1/4 c. dry sherry 3/4 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 clove garlic, minced 1/2 inch piece ginger root, grated or 1 tsp. powdered ginger 1 rack spareribs Mix all ingredients except spareribs. Pour mixture over ribs and marinate at least three hours. Remove ribs and place on a rack, with a shallow pan under it. Cover the bottom of the pan with 1/2 inch of water. Roast at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until tender and browned. Baste with marinate and turn ribs frequently. Cut into individual ribs. Can be served with Chinese mustard and Chinese duck sauce for dunking. |
