HAM AND POTATO SKILLET DINNER | |
1 lb. slice ham, cut in serving pieces 1 tbsp. butter 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1 can cream of mushroom soup 2/3 c. evaporated milk 1/3 c. water 3 c. thinly sliced potatoes 1 c. sliced raw carrots 1/4 c. diced onion 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper In a skillet (use a electric fry pan) melt butter and blend in brown sugar. Brown ham, remove from skillet and pour off drippings. Mix soup, milk, water, onions, salt and pepper and pour in skillet. Stir in potatoes and carrots, clover and cook over low heat stirring now and then so it doesn't stick until vegetables are tender, about 35 minutes. Place ham on vegetables, cover and cook about 10 minutes. Will serve 2 or 3. |
