CURRIED WALDORF SALAD 
3 c. chopped apples
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. seeds (such as sunflower or pumpkin)
1/2 c. raisins
1 c. diagonally sliced celery
1 c. grated carrots
1 c. (1/2 inch cubes) sharp cheese
1 c. mayonnaise or enough to moisten
1/2 tsp. mild curry powder or to taste
Salad greens

Toss ingredients with mayonnaise. Season with curry powder to taste. Take it easy with the curry powder; if it need more, add it 1/4 teaspoon at a time.

Serve on salad greens. Yields 6 servings.
