RED LOLLIPOPS 
2 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water

Cook to hard crack stage (295 to 300 degrees).

Remove from heat. When bubbling stops add:

1 1/2 tsp. anise extract (or 1/2 tsp. cinnamon extract)
(1/4 tsp. oil type or 1/2 tsp. extract type cinnamon)
1/2 tsp. red food coloring

Drop by tablespoonful onto skewers on an oiled cookie sheet (work fast). Makes 30 (approximately).
