DOWN SOUTH BARBECUE 
2 onions, sliced
4 to 5 lbs. pork or beef roast
5 to 6 cloves
2 c. water

Put half of onions in bottom of crock-pot, then add meat and other ingredients with remaining onion on top. Cover and cook 8 to 12 hours on low.

1 (16 oz.) bottle barbecue sauce
1 lg. onion, chopped

Remove bone and fat from meat. Put meat back in crock-pot. Add chopped onion and barbecue sauce. Cover and cook 3 to 5 hours on high or 8 to 12 hours on low. Stir 2 or 3 times. Serve on buns with slaw (if desired).
