BARBECUED PORK | |
3 lb. pork, cubed 2 c. onions, chopped 3 green bell peppers, chopped 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. vinegar 6 oz. can tomato paste 1 1/2 tbsp. chili powder 1 tsp. dry mustard 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tsp. salt Combine all ingredients in slow cooker; cover and cook on high 8 hours. Shred meat with fork. Mix into sauce and heat through. Serve on hamburger/sandwich buns with grated cheese and cole slaw on top. Variations: Substitute cubed chuck roast or stewing beef for the pork or use half beef and half pork. |
