Sliced potatoes Diced onions Diced ham Salt and pepper Cheddar cheese 1 recipe white sauce (below) FIRST LAYER: Sliced potatoes. SECOND LAYER: Diced onions and ham THIRD LAYER: Sliced potatoes Add salt and pepper lightly between all layers. Add white sauce. WHITE SAUCE: 2 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. flour 1 c. milk Salt and pepper Make more sauce if you use a large dish. Turn potatoes in microwave every 10 minutes for about 1/2 hour or until done. Stir if edges are done and center isn't. (I had to stir from the first time I turned the bowl.) Put Cheddar cheese on top the last few minutes. Put into large Corning Ware dish or glass dish with cover. |
