APRICOT BREAD 
1 c. chopped, dried apricots
1 c. golden raisins
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped walnuts

Pour boiling water over butter, apricots and raisins. Sift together dry ingredients. Stir in apricot mixture. Add chopped nuts. Pour into greased and floured, medium sized, loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes to 1 hour or until bread tests done.
