CORNBREAD - IRON SKILLET 
1 c. corn meal
4 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 c. honey
1 egg (optional)
4 tbsp. oil
3/4 c. water, 5 tbsp. dry butter (or 3/4 c. buttermilk)

Place oil in iron skillet and heat in oven. Mix other ingredients. Add hot oil at last moment. Pour batter in hot skillet and bake at 450 degrees for 7 minutes. Then on broil until brown.
