1 c. cornmeal
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. oil

Mix above ingredients well. Bake in hot waffle iron until golden brown. Makes 6 plus or more waffles.
