CRUNCHY BREAKFAST BARS | |
2 c. oats 2/3 c. coconut 1/2 c. chopped pecans 1/3 c. wheat germ 1/4 c. packed brown sugar 1/4 c. butter, softened 2 tbsp.honey Mix oats, coconut, pecans and wheat germ in bowl. Blend brown sugar, butter and honey in small bowl. Add to oats mixture; mix well. Press into well greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool. Cut into bars. Yield: 24 bars. Approximately per bar: Cal. 89; Prot. 1.7 gr,; T. fat 5.0 gr.; Chol. 0.0 mg.; Carbo 10.1 gr.; Sod 29.2 mg.; Potas. 67.7 mg. |
