3 egg whites
1/3 c. applesauce
1 1/4 c. water
1 box yellow, white or lemon cake mix

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 2 (9 inch) cake pans. Mix all ingredients together until well blended. Put in pans. Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Let sit 15 minutes, take out of pans and let cool on racks until completely cool. Ice the cake with your favorite icing.
