SERITA'S SAUSAGE ON RYE 
1 lb. sausage, fried and drained
1 lb. Velveeta cheese
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1 1/2 pkg. cocktail rye bread

Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix the sausage, cheese, oregano and basil together in an electric skillet. Spread the sausage mixture on the rye bread and bake, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes. This is a great recipe to make up and freeze for later.
