SAUSAGE RYE 
1 lb. ground hot sausage
1 lb. Velveeta cheese
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 can mushrooms, drained & chopped
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
Onion, chopped to taste
1 1/2 - 1 loaves party rye bread

Brown meat; add spices and drain off the grease. Cut cheese into small pieces and melt over mixture. Can use low heat and stir to melt the cheese. Spread the mixture on rye slices; place on a cookie sheet and go ahead and freeze until cheese sets. Then, you can pack in plastic bags and freeze until ready to use. Broil in oven until hot.
