RICH PECAN BALLS 
1/4 lb. pecans OR 1 c. ground pecans
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add ground nuts, flour, salt and vanilla. Mix well. Shape into tiny balls, then press flat on cookie sheet or roll into tiny crescent shapes. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 300 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while still warm. These are delicate and break easily. They may be stored in tins for several weeks.
