REFRIGERATED SLAW | |
1 lg. head cabbage, cut in pieces 1 lg. onion, cut in pieces 2 carrots 1 1/4 c. sugar 1 c. vinegar 3/4 c. salad oil 1 tbsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. celery seed 1 tsp. salt Assemble blender. Place cabbage pieces, onion pieces and carrots in blender and chop. Drain and place in a large bowl. Put remaining ingredients into blender, cover and beat until well mixed. Pour into saucepan and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Pour over chopped cabbage, onions and carrots and allow to set for 3 hours. Stir cole slaw and refrigerate. Makes 8-12 servings. |
