GINGER ICE BOX COOKIES 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
1/4 c. bacon grease
1 egg
1 c. molasses (Gold Label)
4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. ginger (heaping)
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda

Mix in order given. Chill. Make into rolls. Chill overnight. Slice thin. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees about 10 minutes.
