SHORT RIBS 
4 carrots, cut lengthwise and halved
3 onions, cut into thick slices
4 lean short ribs
1 (1.5 oz.) onion soup mix

Using heavy duty foil, place ribs between vegetables. Spirnkle with onion soup. Seal tightly and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 250 degrees for 3-4 hours, until short ribs are done.
