2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar and oil. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Add:

2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. fresh apples, diced fine
1/2 c. nuts

Pour into a 9"x13" pan.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. walnuts
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Put on top of cake and bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
