CRANBERRY BREAD 
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. double acting baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, well beaten
3/4 c. orange juice
1 tbsp. grated orange rind
3 tbsp. liquid shortening or salad oil
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 c. Ocean Spray fresh or frozen cranberries, coarsely chopped

Sift together first 5 dry ingredients. Combine next 4 wet ingredients. Make a well in dry ingredients and add egg mixture all at once. Mix only to dampen. Carefully fold in nuts and cranberries.

Spoon into greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until crust is brown. Cool and slice.
