GERMAN SWEET CHOCOLATE CREAM
CHEESE BROWNIES
 
BROWNIE LAYER:

1 pkg. Baker's German's Sweet Chocolate (4 oz.)
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts

CREAM CHEESE TOPPING:

4 oz. cream cheese (soft)
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. plain flour

Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwavable bowl at high 2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Stir sugar into melted chocolate. Stir in eggs and vanilla until completely mixed. Mix in flour until well blended. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 8 inch square pan.

In same bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, egg and flour until smooth. Spoon over brownie mixture; swirl with knife to marbleize. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool in pan; cut in squares. Makes 16 brownies.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
