CHERRY OR RASPBERRY PUDDING 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1 to 1 1/2 qt. fruit

Mix butter and sugar well; add eggs and mix. Then add flour, baking powder and salt; mix alternately with milk. Blend in fruit. Bake in 2-3 cake pans (grease well) at 375 degrees for 30-45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Eat with milk on, as baked, hot or cold, or topped with ice cream.
