FRUIT SALAD 
1 1/2 envelopes Knox gelatin
Scant 1/2 c. cold water
2 tbsp. sugar
1 lg. can fruit cocktail with juice
1 sm. can peaches or mandarin oranges, drained
Grapes, halved if desired
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 c. heavy cream, whipped and sweetened if desired

Add gelatin to cold water and dissolve over hot water. Add to fruit mixture. Add sugar and stir well. Add mayonnaise and whipped cream. Chill several hours or overnight. You may add maraschino cherries or nuts on top. Especially attractive in clear glass dish.
