FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 
Baked 9 inch pie shell
1 c. granulated sugar
2 tbsp. corn starch
Pinch of salt
1 3/4 c. cold water
3 oz. pkg. strawberry Jello
1 tsp. vanilla
2 boxes fresh strawberries

Combine sugar, corn starch, salt and stir in cold water. Cook mix until clean, stirring constantly. (This works well in the microwave oven.) While mix is hot, stir in Jello and vanilla. Cool in the refrigerator until mixture begins to thicken.

Fill the pie shell with berries and pour the Jello mix over it. Refrigerate until set. For fresh peach pie, substitute peaches and peach Jello.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
