SUE CALVANO'S ITALIAN STUFFED
GREEN PEPPERS
 
1 lb. ground beef
3 slices dry bread, soaked in water, then water squeezed out
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 tsp. dry sweet basil
2 eggs
3 tbsp. Italian grated Romano cheese
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Combine all ingredients together and mix well.

Cut tops off 4 or 5 green peppers and stuff with above ingredients well mixed. Bake in 350 to 375 degree oven for about 1 1/2 hours. Sprinkle peppers with tablespoon of oil.
