CRISPY CUCUMBER SLICES 
6 c. thinly sliced cucumbers
1 tbsp. salt
1 onion, sliced into rings
1 green pepper, sliced into strips or chunks
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar

Sprinkle cucumbers with salt and let stand 2 hours. Drain and add onion and green pepper.

Mix sugar and vinegar. Bring to boil on stove, let cool. Pour over vegetables and refrigerate.
