BEEFBURGER SOUP | |
3 tbsp. butter 1 lb. ground round 1/4 c. minced onion 3 c. tomato juice 1 c. water 2 cans cream of celery soup 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/8 tsp. marjoram 1 bay leaf 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1 tsp. sugar 2 c. shredded raw carrots In deep kettle melt butter, brown onion lightly; add meat, break into small pieces as it cooks. Combine tomato juice, water, soup. Stir until smooth. Add to browned meat and onion. Stir in all remaining ingredients and simmer, covered for 15 minutes. |
