GREEN TOMATO CASSEROLE | |
1. Layer sliced green tomatoes and sliced onion in 2 1/2 quart casserole. 2. Between layers dot with 1 can condensed tomato soup, brown sugar, nutmeg, salt and pepper. 3. Bake in 350 oven until tender, about 1 hour. 4. If too juicy, thicken with cornstarch. 5. Top with buttered bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Brown. |
