1 c. butter (softened) 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. sugar 2 c. flour 1 (16 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits 1 c. chopped pecans Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a jelly roll pan. In a large bowl, with mixer at medium speed, cream butter, add salt and vanilla. Beat in sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour and mix until well combined. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. Pat dough into pan. Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned on edges. Cool in pan or rack. Then break by hand into pieces. Makes 5 dozen. Bound to please the Christmas nibblers!! |
