STRAWBERRY DESSERT 
1 c. sifted flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped California walnuts
1/2 c. butter, melted
2 egg whites
1 c. sugar
2 c. sliced fresh strawberries
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. whipping cream, whipped

Stir together first 4 ingredients; spread in baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle 2/3 of the crumbs in 13"x9"x2" baking pan. Combine egg whites, sugar, berries and lemon juice in large bowl; with electric beater, beat on high to stiff peaks, about 10 minutes. Fold in whipped cream. Spoon over crumbs; top with remaining crumbs. Freeze 6 hours or overnight. Cut in squares. Garnish with whole strawberries if desired. You can use 1 (10 oz.) package frozen berries partially thawed, reducing sugar to 2/3 cup.
