PICKLED OKRA SANDWICHES | |
1 (24 oz.) loaf sliced white bread 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 (16 oz.) jar pickled okra (we like it hot) 1 c. fresh parsley, chopped Remove crust from bread. Roll with rolling pin until thin. Coat each slice with cream cheese. Place okra spear in center. Roll up and spread thin layer of cream cheese on the outside, then roll in chopped parsley. You can slice them in small slices or in half. To make pickle sandwiches, replace okra with pickles. |
