CIOPPINO 
1 lb. prawns, chopped and deveined
2 doz. clams
1 crab
2 lb. sea bass
3 tbsp. parsley
1 green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. tomato sauce
1/2 c. olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic, chopped
1 lb. mushrooms, sliced
4 tomatoes, chopped
2 c. red wine

Steam open clams. Reserve cooking liquid. Clean and cut crab. Place olive oil in a deep pot. When oil is hot add onion, garlic parsley, mushrooms and green pepper and cook for 3 minutes. Add chopped tomatoes, tomato sauce, wine and clam liquid. Salt and pepper to taste. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Add cut up bass, prawns, crab and cook about 10 minutes. Serves 8 to 10. Serve with French bread, can be served cold, can easily be increased to serve more people and 1/2 recipe easily serves 5.
