2 med. cans tomatoes, blended 2 sm. cans tomato paste 4 lbs. lean ground beef 1 lg. can Ranch style or kidney beans Chili powder to taste Onion salt - dash Brown beef and pour off grease; add all other ingredients and cook about 5 minutes. Lower heat and simmer for about an hour. This meat sauce serves about 8 to 10 people. Place on the table the following, according to number; then serve yourself buffet style. Start with number 1 in center of plate, then continue with numbers 2, 3, 4, etc. 1. Rice - cooked. 2. Corn chips - crushed. 3. Meat sauce. 4. Tomatoes - cubed. 5. Lettuce - shredded. 6. Cheese - shredded. 7. Onions - cut fine. 8. Black olives - cut fine. 9. Coconut - angel flake. 10. Pecans - chopped fine. 11. Hot sauce - Louisiana Red or picante. |
