GLORIFIED CABBAGE 
1 med. head cabbage, chopped
1/2 c. water
6 tbsp. butter
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese or cheddar, cut in chunks
2/3 c. seasoned bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper

Put cabbage and water into 4-quart dish. Cover and microwave on high 25-30 minutes until very tender. Stir once during cooking. Drain and set aside.

Put onion and butter in 4-quart dish and microwave on high for 4 minutes. Add soup and cheese. Microwave on high 4 minutes or until cheese melts. Add bread crumbs and cabbage, salt and pepper. Microwave on 70% power for 15 minutes, covered. Serves 6-8.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
