1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. water
2 c. raisins
3 eggs, lg.
2 1/2 c. flour, plain
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits
3/4 c. white sugar

Beat butter and sugars, vanilla, water, eggs in bowl until creamy and blended well. By hand, stir in dry ingredients with raisins and chocolate added. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes or longer. Have tried, very good! Makes 4 dozen.
